What is the legal basis for your collecting my information?
It is first and foremost your consent. Beyond that, we need your information to satisfy a contractual necessity.
What information do you collect from me?
We capture and store only minimal data required for the processing of delegates from registration of interest to the issue of examination certificates.
Registration of interest (Pre-registration)
When you register on the site we ask for your name, email address and post code or geographical name of location of your residence, work or convenience. We use these details to create an account for you, which can only be accessed via the username and password that you select. This information is also used to contact you about the services on our site about which we think you will be interested. Geographical information is used to propose a location for a seminar that may best match your preference.
When you register for attending a specific course we ask you to provide information required by our Quality Management System that includes Name, First Name, Private mail address, Private phone number, Private e-mail. To issue an invoice to your sponsoring party we’ll collect their Name, First Name, Position, Organisation/Company, Office mail address, Office phone number, Office e-mail. We are legally bound to the use of a specific QMS by the terms of our licensing and affiliation agreement with the PEOPLECERT company.
Payment for contracted services
When you purchase services from us, you have the choice of paying by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal. Mandatory nformation required to process the transaction and receive your payment is captured and processed within our Quality Management System using SSL security technology. We will not keep your bank account or credit card information after the transaction has been successfully completed.
What should I know about cookies?
Website usage information is collected using cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. Why do you need to collect my information?
We collect information from you to conform to contractual necessity and comply with the requirements of our Quality Management System, to which we are legally bound. We ask you to provide information so that we can enter into a binding contractual agreement in accordance with conditions specified in our Terms and Conditions of Sales.
Who might you share my information with?
We will not share your information with anybody except if required to do so by law.
What do you do with my information?
We hold information about you to manage your order and process your payment. We use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website. In processing your order, we may send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.
How long do you keep hold of my information?
We will hold information you have provided during Registration of interest and Course registration until our contract has been completed, at which time we will delete your delegate account. Information that you have provided when contacting us by e-mail will be weeded out for open/closed enquiries and deleted on a monthly basis.
How can I access the information you hold about me?
You can ask the Controller designated above to provide you with details of your information that we hold by writing to email@example.com. You can also view and update information you have provided to us by accessing the user account you have created.
What are my rights related to data privacy protection?
• ask us to tell you what information about you we are holding;
• ask us to correct, complete or delete information you think is inaccurate;
• delete your user account at any time;
• stop subscription to our newsletter at any time and ask us to delete your information that was used to subscribe to it;
• impose limitations on how we process your information;
• withdraw at any time your consent to our use of your information and/or placement of cookies.

What procedure do you follow in case of data breach?
We take all reasonable measures to safeguard the security of your information. Our website is SSL-secured. Servers on which your information is stored are protected against unauthorized access to data in accordance with the best industry practice. In case a data breach occurs despite our best efforts to prevent it (e.g. through hacker attack, data theft or other criminal act) we will:
• inform the national oversight body (see bottom of this information sheet) within 72 hours in case there is a risk to rights and freedoms of natural persons;
• inform affected natural persons in case there is a high risk to their rights and freedoms.
